Two Mergers with Perutnina Ptuj to Create Slovenia's Largest Food Processor
Ljubljana, 28 August - A major food-processing company, set to employ some 2,500 workers and make joint revenues of over SIT 37bn (EUR 162m) in 2002, is to emerge in Slovenia later in the year, as shareholders of three firms, Perutnina Ptuj, Jata and Kmetijski kombinat Ptuj (KKP), all approved this week that Jata and KKP are to merge with Perutnina Ptuj, after being given the green light by the anti-trust office.
