Novartis Intends to Bid EUR 417.3 a Share for Lek
Ljubljana, 29 August - Swiss pharmaceutical Novartis published its intent to place a purchase bid on all shares of the Ljubljana-based drug maker Lek on Thursday. The bid is to be officially published on 28 September, with the Swiss company offering SIT 95,000 (EUR 417.3) a share. To protect investors' interests the Ljubljana Stock Exchange has already suspended trading with Lek shares. A press conference on the matter is expected later today.
