Croatian Press Doubts Slovenia's Readiness for Arbitration

Ljubljana, 29 August - One should not be too optimistic that Slovenia would agree to international arbitration on the sea border with Croatia, because it knows that by international law it would not get even the larger part of the Piran Bay and especially not an independent corridor to open sea, Thursday's edition of a Croatian daily observes a day after Slovenian PM Janez Drnovsek mentioned arbitration as the last resort in settling the issue.
