State Augments its Stake in Slovenian Steelworks to Over 80 Percent
Jesenice, 30 August - Shareholders of the concern of Slovenian Steelworks agreed at Friday's AGM, at which 85 percent of the capital was present, that the nominal capital of the company is to be increased by a conversion of debts of some SIT 34.4bn (EUR 151m). Debts will be turned into the nominal capital by the state, which is thus to increase its ownership share in the company from 70.2 to 80.6 percent, the company has said.
