Croatian Customs Officials Prevent Joras Supporters from Entering Croatia
Sečovlje, 31 August - A rally in support of Josko Joras, a Slovenian citizen arrested by Croatian police on 21 August, was to take place Saturday on his property on the left side of the Dragonja river. However, the crowd of some 50 never made it to his house, as Croatian customs officials refused to let them across the Croatian border cossing. The rally thus took place on the bridge across the Dragonja, between Slovenia and Croatia.
