Footwear Maker Peko to Climb Out of the Red Next Year
Tržič, 1 September - Slovenia's troubled footwear manufacturer Peko posted revenues of SIT 3.8bn (EUR 16.7m) in the first seven months of the year, with losses amounting to SIT 300m (EUR 1.3m), which is much less than last year's SIT 811m (EUR 3.6m). As Peko's CEO Marta Gorjup Brejc told a news conference on Sunday, Peko, who is in 81-percent ownership of the state, has started to climb out of the red and is on the right path to complete the reorganisation which is to last for four years.
