Tensions Ease in Piran Bay, Fishermen from Both Sides to Address the Issue Tuesday

Koper/Piran, 2 September - The situation after Monday's incidents in the Piran Bay, when a number of Croatian trawlers encircled Slovenian fishing boats, threatening them and preventing them from fishing, has eased, police spokesman Miran Koren told STA. There is nothing happening now, and the trawlers have withdrawn. In a bid to avoid further incidents, representatives of Slovenian and Croatian fishermen agreed today that they would meet on Tuesday to discuss the situation.
