President Milan Kučan: No Form of Political Reintegration in Area of Former Yugoslavia is Acceptable to Slovenia

"The latest visit by President Vaclav Havel to Ljubljana in November 1993 confirmed our conviction that our two countries must not see themselves as two states humbly waiting in the lobby to enter the European institutional associations. With their historical and civilisational traditions and latent economic, scientific and cultural potential, the two countries can help to create the image of a future single European home as a modern, functional and successful theatre stage, on which all the actors with their precious peculiarities are equal," Slovenian President Milan Kučan said in an interview for the Czech Press Agency prior to his visit to Prague on Thursday.
