Slovenian and Croatian Fishermen Fail to Reach Agreement, New Talks to Take Place Saturday
Portorož, 3 September - Slovenian and Croatian fishermen will not fish in the disputed triangle od sea south of the median line in the Piran Bay for four days, is one of the decisions taken Tuesday by representatives of fishermen from both countries. The meeting, held out on sea in Piran Bay, was an attempt to prevent incidents such as Monday's, when a number of Croatian trawlers encircled Slovenian fishing boats, preventing them from fishing and threatening them.
