Croatian FM's Reply is Surprising, Rupel Says
Ljubljana, 3 September - Slovenia's Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said on Tuesday that he had received a reply to a letter he addressed to his Croatian counterpart Tonino Picula on Monday regarding the current tense situation between the two countries, suggesting that Picula's reply was surprising and of a rather negative tone which does not stimulate the continuation of a political dialogue. Despite such a tone, Slovenia has to pursue dialogue, Rupel added at today's session of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs. He also expressed an opinion that Picula did not understand his letter.
