Vilenica 2002: Internet to Dominate 17th Gathering of Writers from Central Europe
Lipica, 4 September - An international gathering of writers is kicking off Wednesday in a tiny southwestern Slovenian town, with the relationship between text and image or literature and the new media to be in the focus of the event. Vilenica 2002, staged by the Slovenian Writers' Association for the 17th year in a row, will see some 120 authors from 31 countries flock to Lipica. On the last day of this literary festival, Romanian writer Ana Blandiana will be conferred the Vilenica grand prix.
