Slovenia Expects to Get Recommendation to End EU Negotiations by the End of the Year
Brussels, 5 September - This year's report of the European Commission on the progress made by Slovenia towards EU membership is to be positive, Slovenia's deputy minister for European affairs Andrej Engelman said following a meeting with European Commission officials in Brussels on Thursday. According to Engelman, the country will by all means be among the applicant countries that are to be recommended to wrap up accession negotiations by the end of this year.
