Small Companies Face Lack of Financing, Says Round Table Debate
Ljubljana, 5 September - The fourth round table on financing of small and mid-sized companies kicked off at Bled on Thursday. Slovenian Economics Ministry State Secretary Mateja Mesl said that the difficult access to capital are a key obstacle of a successful growth of small business. Albrecht Mulfinger of the European Commission Directorate General for entrepreneurship added that in the EU a quarter of small companies admit to having problems with accessing capital, while more and more lack any source of finances.
