Slovenian Border Vet Services to Be Scrutinised by EU Team
Ljubljana, 8 September - A team of EU veterinary inspectors is to stay in Slovenia from Monday to Friday, checking the adequacy of Slovenia's veterinary control on border crossings at which veterinary control points are to be stationed once Slovenia becomes a member of the EU. This will be the first of two visits that are to be made by EU veterinary inspectors this month, as another team of inspectors is to check the entire production chain for foods of animal origin from 23 September to 4 October.
