Slovenian Air Carrier Remains Optimistic Despite Global Aviation Downturn
Brnik, 10 September - Although it was cross-Atlantic air carriers that have been hardest hit by the aviation downturn following the September 11 terrorist attacks, Slovenia's Adria Airways was also affected. The carrier recorded a 4.4-percent drop in the number of passengers, Adria chairman Brane Lucovnik told the press Tuesday. To make things even harder, the manager of Adria's hub Brnik wants to raise the prices of services by six percent, he noted.
