EU Vet Team Warns of Unsuitable Work Spaces for Border Checkpoints
Ljubljana, 13 September - The initial findings of EU veterinary inspectors, which spent the last week checking the adequacy of Slovenia's veterinary control on selected border crossings, suggest that veterinary procedures at border checkpoints are for the most part in line with EU regulations. The inspectors warned however that unsuitable work space makes it impossible to ensure all the necessary procedures, the Slovenian Veterinary Administration said on Friday, as the EU team concluded its visit.
