Interior Minister Sets Guidelines for Future Police Work
Ljubljana, 13 September - Slovenian Interior Minister Rado Bohinc gave the stamp of approval to the guidelines for a mid-term plan of police work between 2003 and 2007. Based on these guidelines the police is now obliged to draft a five-year plan by 1 November, specifying the timeframes for the goals. The strategic document will define the development of the Slovenian police in the time when Slovenia enters the EU, the Schengen regime and joins NATO.
