Slovenia Mentioned as Possible Host for Meeting of Alexy II and Pope
Moscow, 15 September - The leaders of the Russian Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches could hold a historic meeting in Slovenia. As a spokesman for the head of the Russian Orthodox Church was quoted as saying on Sunday by two Russian press agencies, Patriarch Alexy II would be willing to meet Pope John Paul II in a neutral country, such as Slovenia, if certain conditions were met first.
