Speaker of First Slovenian Parliament is 15th Presidential Hopeful
Ljubljana, 16 September - France Bucar, the speaker of the first democratically-elected Slovenian parliament, has entered the presidential race as the 15th challenger. Bucar, who has been publicly called to run for president by the non-parliamentary Slovenian Democratic Party (DS), told Radio Slovenija that he is ready to run if the people wish so. He will attempt to file his candidacy with the backing of 5,000 signatures.
