Poettering: Unsolved Border Issues Could Hamper Slovenia's EU Accession
Ljubljana, 17 September - The open border issue between Slovenia and Croatia should be solved in the shortest period possible, otherwise difficulties might occur in Slovenia's EU accession. This is what Hans-Gert Poettering, the head of the the deputy group of the European People's Party and the European Democrats (EPP-ED) in the European Parliament, told the press on Tuesday, the final day of an EPP-ED conference in Ljubljana.
