Pahor and Lord Chancellor Discuss the Quality of Laws Passed in Tight Schedule
Ljubljana, 17 September - A tight schedule of bringing the Slovenian legislation into line with the EU body of laws does not contribute to its quality, however neither the Slovenian parliament nor the parliaments of other candidate countries want and can assume the responsibility if their countries are eliminated from the EU enlargement process because of failing to adopt EU-compatible laws. This is what Slovenia's Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor told British Lord Chancellor Irvine of Lairg on Tuesday.
