Enlargement Calculations a Result of False EU Approach, Suggested in a TV Debate
Ljubljana, 18 September - European Commission's enlargement calculations, which put Slovenia in the role of a net contributor to the EU budget, are a result of an incorrect approach in negotiations, as the EU deals with candidate countries as a group, where Slovenia occupies one of the top spots according to its development. Slovenia, however, does not negotiate in a group and if it was truly treated individually, nobody would come up with the idea to put it in such a position, former Slovenian EU Ambassador Marko Kranjec said in a TV Slovenija debate.
