Parliamentary Committe Backs Gov't Bill on Privatisation of Slovenian Railways

Ljubljana, 18 September - In an extremely heated debate, the parliamentary committee for infrastructure and environment backed on Wednesday the bill on restructuring and privatisation of Slovenian Railways (SZ). The disputed government bill, which is firmly opposed by the railways trade unions, is now expected to be voted upon in parliament as early as this month.
