Ljubljana/Maribor, 20 September - The decision of the insurance watchdog to revoke the operating license of the largest Slovenian insurer is scrutinised Friday by three Slovenian dailies. The Agency for Insurance Supervision made the decision on Tuesday, as Zavarovalnica Triglav refused to oust its two leading executives. While two papers blame the agency for not revealing its decision to the public as soon as it was taken, Vecer speculates that EU's pressure for Slovenia to settle ownership in its insurance sector may well be behind the dispute.
