Government Provides EUR 3m For Vets Amidst Threats of Work Stoppage
Ljubljana, 20 September - The Slovenian government provided SIT 670.6m (EUR 3m) Friday to pay its debt to private veterinary institutions that are under contract with the national veterinary administration, the Agriculture Ministry said. The move comes after the vets threatened to stop working on Tuesday if the state fails to pay its liabilities.
