National Council to Discuss Bank Privatisation Tomorrow
Ljubljana, 24 September - The upper chamber of the Slovene parliament, the National Council, is expected to discuss the government's report on concluded procedures in privatisation of state-owned banks on Wednesday. The report was compiled by the Ministry of Finance at the request of the National Council. In it the government estimates that by the recently finished first phase of privatisation of Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) all conditions for reaching both fundamental aims of the privatisation are now fulfilled.
