Ukraine President Kuchma Receives New Slovenian Ambassador
Kiev, 24 September - New, non-resident Slovenian ambassador to Ukraine Andrej Gerencer presented credentials on Tuesday to Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma. Upon receiving Gerencer, who is to be seated in Hungary's Budapest, President Kuchma suggested that relations between Slovenia and the Ukraine are friendly, and expressed hope that bilateral co-operation would even strengthen with the appointment of the new ambassador.
