MPs Approve Amendments to Law on Citizenship
Ljubljana, 24 September - Slovenian parliament adopted on Tuesday amendments to the law on citizenship, aimed at simplifying procedures for acquiring citizenship. As Interior Minister Rado Bohinc suggested in presenting amendments to the MPs, the changed act will also reduce chances for abuse and will harmonize legislation with the Council of Europe citizenship convention.
