Slovenian Press Critical of Bill on Retired Presidents
Ljubljana, 26 September - The Slovenian press criticises on Thursday the bill that deals with the rights and privileges of retired presidents. The bill was the subject of a heated parliamentary debate on Wednesday, as almost all parliamentary factions were critical one way or another of its contents. In addition to offering too many privileges, the proposed law offers the former head of state too much power, Vecer and Dnevnik believe.
