Stock Market: Blue Chips Tumble After Lek General Assembly
Ljubljana, 27 September - A decision which seemingly closes the door for a takeover of Slovenian drug-maker Lek by Swiss pharmaceutical Novartis has sent shares on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange tumbling. Two hours before the close of the market, the Slovenian benchmark SBI 20 index was down 4.26 percent on the day. Trading with Lek shares is still suspended.
