Minority Shocked at Dismissal of Top Regional Education Official
Trieste, 27 September - The Slovenian minority in Italy is dissapointed with the dismissal of top education official of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the region which is home to the minority in this neighbouring country. Bruno Forte, who was sacked on Thursday by the Italian Education Ministry, lost his job for what the minority considers his consistent safeguarding of minority language rights.
