Slovenia and Malta Expect to Strengthen Their Positions after EU Accession
Valletta, 27 September - Slovenia and Malta as relatively small countries see potential EU membership as an opportunity to strengthen their respective roles in taking decisions both within the EU as well as in the world policy. It is a view shared by both Slovenian Europe Minister Janez Potocnik and the Maltese President Guido De Marco and PM Edward Fenech Adami, who met with the Slovenian official during his two-day visit to Malta. Slovenian President Milan Kucan is also expected to visit Malta at the beginning of October.
