Lek Takeover: Novartis to Offer EUR 416.21 per Lek share
Ljubljana, 27 September - The Swiss bidder Novartis has decided to offer the shareholders of Slovenia's drug maker Lek SIT 95,000 (EUR 416.21) per share in a takeover bid to be published on Saturday, thus allowing Lek shareholders to take a decision. The bid for which Novartis has been given a go-ahead by the Securities Market Agency is in cash, while shareholders could choose between a settlement in euros or tolars, the company stated in a press release on Friday.
