Lek Takeover: Novartis Publishes Takeover Bid

Ljubljana, 28 September - Novartis subsidiary Servipharm has published a public takeover bid for Ljubljana-based drug-maker Lek in Saturday's edition of the daily Delo. The Swiss pharmaceutical group offers Lek shareholders SIT 95,000 (EUR 416.21) per share, which they can be paid in domestic currency or euros. Novartis aims to obtain 51 percent of Lek by 28 October.
