Vecer Looks at Problems of Campaign Financing in Slovenia
Maribor, 28 September - Presidential candidates for the upcoming elections have had to open special bank accounts this week, with which the state is to ensure supervision over their campaign financing. All this is in a bid to stop corruption, as well as preventing excess spending by the richer candidates, the daily Vecer writes on Saturday, but adds that parties actually do much of their dirty work legally.
