Blue Chips Tumble After Lek General Assembly
Ljubljana, 28 September - The outcome of the general assembly of Ljubljana-based pharmaceutical company Lek - shareholders rejected Novartis's prerequisites for a takeover - sent stocks tumbling late on Friday and erased all gains the benchmark SBI 20 index on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) made earlier in the week. The selling spree on Friday meant that the SBI closed the week at 3,161.29, down 137.41 pts (4.17 percent).
