Slovenian Companies Lack Competitiveness
Ljubljana, 1 October - Slovenia is lagging in productivity in various fields of the processing industry compared to EU countries which have the greatest gross value added per employee, even more than four times higher, Slovenian Economics Minister Tea Petrin told a press conference on Tuesday. "The lag is drastic in some fields. Slovenia's computer industry lags six times, while the telecommunications are seven times behind," she summarized the results of a competitiveness analysis in twelve fields of processing industry.
