Slovenian Railways Concerned Ahead of Entering European Market
Ljubljana, 2 October - The average age of those employed at Slovenian Railways is over 41 years and it rises by six months every year. Only 65 percent of workers have adequate qualifications, while there are 600 persons with disabilities. "These are the data that raise our concerns from the aspect of competitive operations ahead of the entrance to the European market," Srecko Hvauc of the railways' trade union said at a panel debate on TV Slovenia late on Tuesday.
