Economy Committee Says Workers Should Decide on Sunday Shopping

Ljubljana, 2 October - The parliamentary committee for the economy adopted several supplements to the amendments of the trading bill on Wednesday. After a heated discussion, the committee members decided to uphold the supplement stipulating that traders would have the power to set opening hours between Monday and Saturday, while they would be allowed to open shops on Sunday, bank holidays and at night only with employee approval.
