Ljubljana, 2 October - The influence of arts and culture on economy need not be especially pointed out nowadays as festivals and similar cultural events have a beneficial effect on a variety of activities, such as tourism. Culture affects the "human capital" as it promotes creativity and builds a sense of belonging and pride, director of the Government Office for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development dr. Janez Sustersic told Wednesday's panel on arts and culture as driving forces of economic development in Slovenia.
