Slovenia and Romania Expect NATO Membership, Says PM Drnovsek
Ljubljana, 3 October - Slovenian and Romanian prime ministers Janez Drnovsek and Adrian Nastase, who met during Nastase's official visit to Slovenia, discussed relations between the countries and the common activities in joining Euro-Atlantic organisations. Both countries already shared the same destiny in terms of not getting NATO membership at the 1997 Madrid summit, Drnovsek said during the Thursday press conference following his talks with Nastase.
