RBMP Points to Need for Consolidation in Central and Eastern Europe
Bled, 3 October - Regional co-operation is of utmost importance for the growth and development of countries which make up the region, European External Relations Commissioner Chris Patten said in a message to the participants of the 10th Regional Business Meeting Point (RBMP) that was launched on Thursday at the lakeside resort of Bled. Patten, whose message was read by head of the European Commission delegation to Slovenia Erwan Fouere, said that the encouragement of regional co-operation is a basic part of EU's support to stability, democracy and economic development of Central and Eastern Europe.
