Slovenian Vets Meet EU Standards
Ljubljana, 4 October - Slovenia has made outstanding progress in the organisation of veterinary services, which are completely comparable to EU standards, assessed EU inspectors who checked Slovenia's entire production of food of animal origin between 23 September and Friday. The nine-member veterinary inspection only discovered certain deficiencies in the method of financing veterinary service operation, the Slovenian Veterinarian Administration (VURS) said.
