EU Opponents Have Two Major Associations in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 5 October - The support of the Slovenian public for EU accession has always been fairly high and stabile, fluctuating around 55 percent. That, however, does not mean that there are no opponents to EU membership in Slovenia. Opinion polls have shown that up to a quarter of the voters would check no at a membership referendum. Many of those EU opponents are associated in two Slovenian institutions - the Neutro group and the Movement December 23.
