Luxembourg Group Determined to End Negotiations by End of the Year

Krakow, 7 October - EU accession negotiations are going well and the Luxembourg group of candidate countries is determined to end negotiations by December and join the Union in 2004. This was said as chairs of parliamentary European affairs committees from Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland and Slovenia met in Krakow on Monday. Slovenia was represented by chair of the parliamentary European affairs commission Lojze Peterle.
