Private Vets to be Paid from Budget Reserves

Ljubljana, 8 October - The Agriculture Ministry on Tuesday received SIT 150m (EUR 656,000) from budget reserves to pay part of its debt to private veterinary institutes that are under contract with the national veterinary administration. Agriculture Minister Franci But and Finance Minister Anton Rop will still have to search for another SIT 150m necessary for overdue payments to the vets, the Ministry's spokesperson Valentin Hajdinjak said.
