Report Reveals Slovenian Book Publishers' Troubles
Ljubljana, 8 October - Slovenia's publishing houses are in a serious crisis, manifested by growing prices and decreasing number of copies sold, suggests a report by the Institute for International Competition. Even though Slovenia is at the top of the list in the number of new titles published yearly, the average number of books actually sold puts the country to the European bottom.
