Slovenia Remains a Serious NATO Candidate, Says U.S. Ambassador to NATO
Brnik, 9 October - U.S. Ambassador to NATO Nicholas Burns, who wrapped up his two-day visit to Slovenia on Wednesday, said that the country remains a serious NATO candidate, however, the U.S. and the Alliance have not yet decided which candidates will be invited at the November summit in Prague. Slovenia has co-operated well with NATO, and particularly with the U.S. in all fields that refer to NATO accession and has made great progress, Burns told reporters at Brnik airport.
