ITF Surpassed All Expectations in Four Years, 31m Sq. Metres Cleared

Ljubljana, 9 October - The success of the Slovenian-managed International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) has surpassed all expectations, ITF Director Jernej Cimpersek said on Wednesday. In its four years, this leading demining organisation in SE Europe has managed to collect over US$ 100m in donations, which it has used for clearing 31 million sq. metres of mine-infested territory.
