Foreign Affairs Committee Pleased with Progress Report, Concerned about Irish Referendum
Ljubljana, 10 October - Members of the parliamentary foreign affairs committe were on Thursday briefed on the European Commission report on Slovenia's progress towards EU membership, released on Wednesday. While the MPs were generally pleased with the document, they expressed concern over whether the enlargement road map would go ahead as planned, as there is uncertainty about the repeated Irish referendum on the ratification of the Nice Treaty.
